Carbon monoxide detectors, scuba tank valves, and kerosene heater wick holders among products recalled
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the following product recalls:
Revco Products, Inc. (Huntington Beach, California) Gas Sniffer Model 840 carbon monoxide detectors. The alarm may fail to sound when hazardous levels of carbon monoxide are present. The detectors were sold in the eastern United States through various coal stove and fireplace accessory stores from June 1986 to August 1995. The detectors should be returned immediately to Revco Products, 5622-B Research Dr., Huntington Beach, CA 92649. The company will provide a replacement and reimburse postage up to $3.
