Chicagofirefighterscame to the aid of a distraught man who was threatening to jump from a bridge over the Kennedy Expressway. Tim Olk captured some photos of therescueeffort.
TheChicago Sun-Timesreported that the expressway’s outbound reversible and local lanes were all shut down, as were two inbound lanes.
The man, thought to be in his 50s, was not injured but was taken to an area medical facilty.
