ORIGINAL STORY:Atlanta (GA) Fire Chief Kelvin Cochran condemns homosexuality in a religious book he wrote, equating in to bestiality and sexual perversion, according to a report.
Project Q (http://bit.ly/1xuNYMM) cites passages from Cochran’s book, “Who Told You That You Were Naked,” in which he compares homosexuality to “uncleanness” and discusses limiting sex to procreation.
According to the report, Cindy Thompson, a lesbian and retired 30-year veteranfirefighterof Atlanta Fire Rescue, said she finds the book’s overtly religious condemnations disturbing.

Cochran, previous chief of the Shreveport (LA) Fire Department, was head of Atlanta Fire; he left for a short time to serve asU.S. Fire Administrator before returning to take the top post inAtlantain 2010.
