Flames broke out at a two-and-a-half story home on Hamburg Street near South Park Avenue in Buffalo Thursday afternoon and the Buffalo Fire Department was careful to make sure no one was inside.
Firefighters searched an occupied home twice but did not locate any victims. But in the process, one of their own was hurt, reports wivb.comhttp://bit.ly/1hPb6OC.
One firefighter was taken to ECMC with with a bad back injury after falling through a second story floor in the home.
