Ninety-five Pennsylvania water departments have made applications to the State Department of Forestry for trees for reforesting the water-shed areas, the department agreeing to make free examination of all planting sites.
William H. Buck, chief engineer of the Riverton & Palymra Water Company of Riverton, N. J., makes his own tools for removing leadite from pipe joints. He finds they work much quicker than melting out the joint with the ordinary gasoline blow-torch.
