WATER SUPPLY
—President J. H. Decker of the American Water-works Association and superintendent of the water-works at Salina, Kan., in the course of a letter writes: “The late storm which devastated Louisville gave us a call, blowing down our smoke stack, crushing in the top of our pumping mill, and breaking off our suction pipe twenty-two feet under ground, so that I have my hands just as full of work as is possible.”
