Tuition Support for Firemen
Jersey City State College’s Center for Occupational Education in Jersey City has been awarded a grant for the training of firemen by the New Jersey State Department of Community Affairs, it was announced by Dr. James H. Mullen, president.
The grant will enable the college to reimburse one-third of the tuition of fire service personnel who successfully complete courses in fire science offered during the current semester. The tuition reimbursement is available to both paid and volunteer firemen and others active in the fire service in New Jersey.
