WE are indebted to the Silsby Manufacturing Company for an elegant picture containing the portraits of H. C. Silsby, the founder of the company, Horace Silsby, Charles T. Silsby and W. S. Silsby, the sons, who are now engaged with their father in the manufacture of steam fire engines. These portraits are executed by the Heliotype process, and are not only lifelike, but admirable from an artistic standpoint. Accompanying the portraits is a picture of one of their four-wheel hose carriages, which portrays the apparatus in capital style.
