THE SEAGRAVE COMPANY.

Orders for fire apparatus and especially for its trussed hook and ladder trucks are coming in apace to the Seagrave company, of Columbus, Ohio. Among them are the following:

This order was placed through Mr. Julius Pearse, of Denver, Colo.—Cameron, Tex., has recently received a very handsome hose wagon, with ball-bearing axles, from the works of the Seagrave company. It was sold through Mr. F. T. Woodward, of Dallas, Tex —Marion, Ohio, having had in use the past ten years a Seagrave trussed hook and ladder truck which has rendered the most efficient service, and desiring, in accordance with the growth of the city, to have a larger and more fuliy equipped city service truck, placed its order with the Seagrave company for one of its latest No. 89 full trussed hook and ladder trucks, which has been delivered, and of which the city is justly proud.—The city of Omaha. Neb., after having used Seagrave trussed ladders for several years has just placed an order for a Gleason & Bailey aerial truck, to be equipped throughout with Seagrave trussed ladders, which are now being built at the works of the company.—Lima, Ohio,has placed its order with the Seagrave company for one of its most modern and up-to-date combination, double, thirty-flve-gallon chemical engines and hose wagons, with all modern fighting tools and equipments. The wagon is now being built at the works of the company.—An oft-time demonstrated fact of these trussed goods being one-half the weight and four times stronger than untrussed goods caused Phenix City, Ala., to place an order with the Seagrave company for one of its modern trussed hook and ladder trucks, which has been received from the manufacturer; and placed in,' service; and with which the fire boys are well pleased. —Grand Island, Neb., has just placed in service one of the well-known Seagrave trussed hook and ladder trucks sold by the wellknown and highly esteemed former Chief Julius Pearse, of Denver, Colo.
