Texas Firemen to Erect Memorial
Funds are being raised in Waco, Texas, for the erection of a memorial building to honor the former volunteer firemen of Waco and other departments in Texas. The building will be erected on the grounds of the Texas Cotton Palace, a state exhibition. All persons who contribute one hundred dollars or more will have their names on a bronze plate to be placed somewhere in the new building.
In the memorial building will be placed the only two steamers left in the state, a number of photographs, relics and other objects of firemanic interest.
