An ordinance extending the boundary lines of Sewer District No. 1, Denver, Col., was passed under a suspension of the rules.
The board of public works, Milwaukee, Wis., opened bids and let contracts for constructing sewers in the following streets: Linus, Twenty-fifth, Marshall, Lloyd, Luscomb, Corcoran, Potter, Newhall, Belleview, Bartlett, Bradford, Wine, American avenue and Forest Home avenue. Commissioner Dunch says the prices of the lowest bidder were remarkably low. The board is extending the sewers and water-works into the outskirts at a lively rate'.
