Past Chief George W. Yeiter of Millville, N. J., who served as chief and fire marshal from 1887 to 1902, died on January 14th last much respected by the citizens and members of the department.
Joseph H. Beall, a New York lawyer, residing in Yonkers, N. Y., has just been appointed a water commissioner by Mavor Walsh. Mr. Beall succeeds John C. Schotts, who has been president of the board for a long time.
