The city council of Canton, Ohio, has confirmed the reappointment by Mayor Herman R. Twitter of William R. Zollinger and Elmer E. Cline, as members of the water commission of that city. This commission is a non-partisan organization created by a resolution introduced in the council by Mayor Witter when he was a member of that body.
Henry O. Gray, who has been elected sheriff of Louisville, Ky., has submitted his resignation to the Louisville Water Company to take effect on December 31. Mr. Gray succeeded the late Sebastian Zorn two years ago as president of the latter company, his appointment dating from December 23, 1920. Mayor Hustin has not yet announced the successor of Mr. Gray.
