二十年会太平洋- Coast Association of Fire Chiefs assembled in Symphony Hall, Los Angeles, Cal., at 10.30 a. m. Monday, Sept. 9, 1912, with President Thos. Davis in the chair. Mayor Geo. Alexander was introduced by him and delivered a pleasant address of welcome. This was responded to by President Thos. Davis, of Victoria, B. C., and Vice-Presidents J. E. Shrewsbury, of Long Beach, Cal., and J. H. Carlisle, of Vancouver, B. C. Also Chief Thos. G. Lauder, of Edmonton, Alberta, who was introduced as coming the longest distance. As a credential committee the president appointed Chief Joseph Wood, of Renton. Wash.; Chief Joseph Schneider, of Riverside, Cal., and Chief W. C. Young, of Santa Ana, Cal. Chief Geo. McAlevy. of Tacoma. Wash., was placed upon the exhibit committee to fill a vacancy, and President Davis also appointed Chief John Parkin, of Nanaimo, B. C.; Chief W. E. Taro, of Everett, Wash., and Chief T. G. Lauder, of Edmonton, Alberta, as an auditing committee. Adjournment until 2 p. m.
