Revolutionary Changes Have Taken Place in the Fire Field During Half Century; Early History of This Journal
11月1日7th, to be exact, marked the 50th birthday of FIRE ENGINEERING. Established in November, 1877, the first issue appeared on the 17th of that month. FIRE ENGINEERING has been issued continuously since then, though there has been four changes in name since its founding.
