OBITUARY
Timothy F. Murnane, for 22 years chief of the Fitchburg, Mass., fire department, died September 2, aged 67. Mr. Murnane retired on a pension last April because of feeble health. He had served as a fireman for 48 years in Fitchburg, and was at one time president of the Massachusetts State Firemen’s Association.
Two 1 1/2-ton combination chemical and hose trucks, ordered by the town of Hamilton, O., are now due, having been shipped by the manufacturers, the Northern Fire Apparatus Company.
