Nott Fire Engine Contracts.
The city of Wausau, Wis., after an exhaustive test of the second-size Nott engine, accepted same, placed it in service and ordered a warrant drawn in payment at once. The city of Racine, Wis., received its rebuilt Clapp & Jones engine, which carried with it a Nott spiral tube boiler, made its own test, etc., and wrote the Nott company a very complimentary letter in regard to the same, enclosing check for payment in full. The city of Horicon. W is., received its engine back again, carrying with it a new spiral water-tube boiler of the Xott design. Several different tests of the engine were made and surprise was caused at the steaming qualities of the boiler. So well pleased were the officials that they immediately accepted the engine, placed it in service and have sent check in full payment for same.
