The council at Rensselaer and the Rensselaer Water company are conferring relative to a new contract for supplying water; the present agreement being unsatisfactory to both parties. When the new contract is entered into, the company intends making extensive improvements, among which will be the erection of a large reservoir on the hills east of Rensselaer and the installa lion of new and powerful pumps at the power house.
anajoharie has decided to vote on August 18 on the following proposition “Shall tin Mini of $75,000 he raised for the pnrposr of providing the village with a suitable municipal water system, to be owned and wholly controlled by the village ?”
