New York’s Deputy Commissioner
Fire Commissioner Adamson has appointed W. Holden Weeks to be deputy fire commissioner to Succeed George W. Olvany. Commissioner Adamson was very highly recommended by numerous members of the New York Bar Association and others. Mr. Weeks is a lawyer, with offices at 49 Wall street. In 1889 he was graduated from the School of Mines, Columbia University with the degree of Ph. B. In 1908 Governor Hughes appointed him transfer tax appraiser, which position he held until 1911.
