The January, 1919, issue ofGraphite,the newsy little house organ of the Joseph Dixon Crucible Company, is, as always, well printed and well illustrated. It contains an account of the Dixon Sales Convention, and shows pictures of the uses of graphite pretty much the world over.

Shop and Field Newsfor January, published by the employees of the Pittsburgh Filter Company, Pittsburgh, Pa., contains “Our Honor Roll” on its first page, consisting of thirty-four names of men in the service of the United States. The paper consists of sixteen pages, well printed, being divided into a series of page departments, each conducted by a member of the editorial staff.

The catalogue of the Safety Fire Extinguisher Company, 291-293 Seventh Avenue, New York City, entitled “Fire Protection—Safety First,” contains 65 well-printed pages, and red cover, printed in black and silver, 9×6 inches in size. It describes and illustrates in black and red the large line of fire department supplies manufactured and dealt in by the company, and contains a convenient index at the back of the book.
