New Jersey Firefighter Turns 100

A New Jersey fire chief has laid claim to the title of the nation’s oldest acting firefighter after turning 100 over the weekend.

Chief Vincent Dransfield celebrated his 100th birthday in Little Falls, where he was presented with letters of recognition from Congress, the White House, and the governor for his years of service, according toPassaic Valley Today(http://bit.ly/1hsKRR0).
