Union City, N. J., Installs Apparatus Which Includes a Definite Step Forward, in That Shelter Is Provided for Driver and Operator Against Cold and Inclement Weather
THE illustration shows an emergency floodlighting truck recently put in service by the Fire Department of Union City, N. J. The truck was designed and built under the supervision of Chief Charles F. Friedel, of the department. The body is fitted with a cab. The entire unit represents a definite step forward, in giving protection to the driver and operator of an emergency unit of this kind. Its appearance is attractive in the streamlined effect of the body and shrouded wheels.
