New England Fire Notes
The Officers’ School .of the Boston fire department will hereafter be known as the Fire College of the Boston fire department.
The net proceeds of the annual ball of the Boston fire and protective departments amounted to $22,412.15 this year which is the largest sum ever realized from a firemen’s ball in this city. The money was turned over to Henry J. McNealy, treasurer of the Boston Firemen’s Relief Fund. The ball was held in Mechanics’ Hall on February 7, last.
