Since Its Formation New England Association of Fire Chiefs Has Rapidly Grown—Convention Looks Like Big Success—The Program
ON July 12, 1922, fifty chiefs of fire departments of New England States, cities and towns met in the city of Boston and formed the New England Association of Fire Chiefs. From this small beginning the association which meets next week in Boston, grew with marvelous rapidity. At the meeting just referred to Chief John P. Doyle, of Wellesley, Mass., was elected president, and Chief John C. Moran, of Hartford, Conn., first vice-president. The other officers were: second vice-president, Chief Patrick J. Hurley, of Holyoke, Mass. ,and secretarytreasurer, Chief J. W. O’Hearn, Watertown, Mass.
