NATIONAL FIREMEN’S ASSOCIATION CONVENTION.
For the ensuing convention of the National Firemen’s association at Kansas City, Mo., on August 29, 30, 31, all the roads on the Western & Central Passengers’ associations will sell round trip tickets for one first-class fare plus $2 from all points in their territory—except in Missouri; Kansas and Nebraska, where it will be one fare plus fifty cents. The New England, South Eastern and Trunk line Passenger associations will sell tickets for one first-class fare and one-third the same rate on the certificate plan East and South. The Trans-Continental association’s rate is one first class fare from California for thirty days—usual diverse routes going and coming. The rate by the North Pacific coast is $10 higher than the lowest first-class fare, with $13.50 additional for Shasta route; limit, ninety days from date of sale; stop overs within limits. The dates of sale allow ample time to reach destination both going and returning from all points. Let delegates take up the matter of varying regulations with their local agents at once, and thus avoid any delay at the start.
