National Association Convention
The annual convention of the National Firemen’s Association will be held in Chicago, Ill., December 1-3, with headquarters at the National Hotel. The new insurance branch of the association now has 490 members enrolled. Any fireman in the country may become a member of that branch by paying $1 for dues and $1 into the insurance fund, which will entitle his dependents to one assessment not to exceed $500 in case of his death. There are two classes, one-for paid and the other for volunteer firemen. Ex-Battalion Chief Bert Fisher, of Chicago, is secretary of the association.
