MOTOR APPARATUS NOTES
Washington, D. C., has placed an order with the Front Drive Motor Co., of Hoboken, N. J., for two more Christie tractors to be attached to an aerial truck and a steam engine. The Washington department has two Christie tractor in service at present.
The Fire Board of Aurora, Ill., has issued an order limiting the speed of motor fire apparatus to 18 miles an hour. Captains of companies are to be responsible for the keeping of the regulation and also for seeing that the men do not drive recklessly in crowded streets and on slippery pavements.
