The Waterous Engine Works Company of St. Paul have been awarded the contract for supplying Albia, Ia., with one of their No. 3 steamers and rebuilding their present engine with a “Waterous" patent boiler. This company is also rebuilding the steam fire engine at Hastings, Minn., with a “Waterous” boiler.
The Mayor of Middletown, N. Y., has authorized Gleason & Bailey Company of Seneca Falls, N. Y., to build a specially designed police and hose wagon for Eagle Hose Company.
