Owego, N. Y., has ordered for its fire department a double-tank chemical fire engine from Chas. T. Holloway & Co., Baltimore, Md.—The same firm has also received an order to build for the Good Will fire company, of York, Pa., one of its all-steel, double-tank, combination chemical engine and hose wagons.
R. W. Stockley & Co., of 810 Walnut street, Philadelphia, Pa., have lately uniformed the Kennett Square, Pa., fire department, with fifty suits aud caps to their entire satisfaction; also the Liberty fire company of Spring City, Pa. Both of these companies made a very fine appearance in the parade held in Philadelphia, Pa., on Thursday, October 8. The West Branch fire company, of Renova, Pa., with suits made by Stockley & Co., took the first prize for the best appearing company in line of march of parade held at Emporium, Pa., some few days ago. Stockley & Co., have also lately uniformed the Columbia hook and ladder company, of Ellsworth, Me.; also the hook and ladder company, of Mankato, Minn.
