The La France Engine Company of Elmira has just completed a firstclass Hayes Truck for Brooklyn. It is equipped with all the modern appliances, and was made especially for hard, practical service in that city. It will be delivered to the Department next week. On Monday last the Company delivered a Hayes Truck to Montreal, Canada. These ladders are rapidly growing in favor, and will soon be a necessary part of the equipment of every large Fire Department.
