Mid-Hudson Chiefs Meet at Patterson, N. Y.

The regular meeting of the Mid-Hudson-Harlem Fire Chiefs’ Association was held at Patterson, N. Y., Fire Headquarters on the evening of Saturday, April 6, with 47 members and eleven guests present. The members were welcomed by the President of the Patterson Company. Chief Drake reported for the cover up plan that twenty-three replies had been received, but that a number were yet to be heard from. He urged all to send in reports as to apparatus and equipment, capacity of water supply, etc., so that the records could he completed.

A paper on "The Relation of Discipline to the Efficiency m the Volunteer Fire Department." was read by request by Robert H. Lockwood, Associate Editor of FIRE ENGINEERING. Mr. Lockwood was given a rising vote of thanks at the conclusion of the paper.
