METERAGE
Ballston N. Y., water board has decided to meter the town with a view to checking the waste. The citizens will be asked to vote on a $10,000 bond issue which will be expended in meters. A rate of 100 gallons has been fixed for each $0 of water tax paid.
At Atlanta. Ga., last year the Gamon Meter Company, of Newark, N. J., manufacturers of the "Watch Dog” brand water meters, was awarded 25 per cent, of the meter contract. This year it received 50 per cent., which means 1,500 meters of various sizes delivered through the year.
