The Hayes extension ladder grows in favor with every day’s use. One of them will be exhibited at Syracuse at the time of the State convention. They are built by the La France Company.
The La France Fire Engine Company of Elmira has just issued a neat pamphlet descriptive of their new improved piston engine. It contains a full description of their nest tube boiler and other peculiar features, and several illustrations of the engine.
