A general discussion of the arrangements for the annual convention of the association in this city next September was entered into. Instead of confining the convention to three or four days as has been the custom, it was decided to hold it for a full week, commencing on Monday, the 1st, in Madison Square Garden. In the past it has been customary to establish the business headquarters of the officers in a hotel, but on this occasion quarters will be set aside for this purpose in the Garden. The exhibit of motor apparatus will be the great attraction, as it will embrace a larger display than has ever before been seen.
