Massachusetts Fire Chiefs Meet
The December luncheon and meeting of the Fire Chiefs’ Club of Massachusetts was held at Young’s Hotel, Boston, Mass., on Wednesday, December 16. Chief William F. Daley, of Brockton, president of the club, directed the meeting and was assisted by Chief Patrick J. Hurley, of Holyoke, vice-president; and ExChief A. Howard Fiske, of Framingham, secretary.
There were eighty-one chiefs present, the largest attendance at any of the meetings held this year. Five new members were elected as follows: Chief Leslie H. Wiggin, of Franklin; Chief Chester H. Knowles, of Hamilton; Chief John E. Soulnier, of North Adams; Acting Chief Frank H. Martin, Jr., of Cohasset; and Fire Commissioner Daniel J. Harrington, of Fall River.
