Maine Fire Chiefs Meet
The annual meeting of the State Association of Fire Chiefs of Maine was held at Norway, September 16, with Chief Oliver T. Sanborn of Portland, President, presiding. The address of welcome was extended to the association by the Chairman of the Board of Assessors, Norway, and was responded to by Chief J. W. Randlette, Richmond. The meeting was held in the recently completed new fire station.
Assistant Chief A. C. Blaquiere, Norway, read a history of the local department.
