Los Angeles Bans Football
Fire Departments along the Pacific Coast were greatly surprised at the announcement that the Los Angeles Fire Department will discontinue football as an extra departmental activity.
The sport was started in the Department five years ago in the hopes that it would be the means of raising funds for the Los Angeles Fire Department Band.
