Kentucky Ban on Fireworks
A ban on the sale of all fireworks in Kentucky, effective Feb. 1, has been imposed by Warren Southworth, the state fire marshal. Southworth said he canceled all distributor permits because of violation of a 1968 law allowing the sale of sparklers, toy pistol caps and similar minor items.
