June Fire Losses
Estimated fire losses in the United States during June amounted to $95,986,000, the National Board of Fire Underwriters has reported.
Losses for the first six months of 1962 now total $680,408,000, an increase of 7.1 per cent over the first six months of 1961, when they amounted to $635,017,000, according to Lewis A. Vincent, NBFU’s general manager.
