July Fire Losses
Estimated fire losses in the United States during July amounted to $82,334,000, the National Board of Fire Underwriters has reported.
According to Lewis A. Vincent, NBFU’s general manager, this $82,334,000 loss represents an increase of 1.9 per cent over losses of $80,782,000 reported for July 1958, and an increase of 5.7 per cent over losses of $77,867,000 for June 1959.
