It is, in part, as follows: The ninth annual convention of this association will be held at St. Louis, on September 13, 14, 1904. The Grand View Fraternal hotel, situated very conveniently to the Exposition grounds, South Side, has been selected as the official headquarters, and the members are advised to stop at this place, special terms of $2 per day per room, one or more persons, having been secured. Meals may be had a la carte or table d’hote, and at reasonable prices. The hotel is quite accessible; all Market street cars pass the door. Those intending to stop at this place should notify the hotel management as soon as possible, so that proper arrangements may be made, and rooms reserved. The secretary will be in attendance on Monday, September 12. and members and guests should register as soon as possible upon their arrival. The opening session will be held at 9.30 a. m., on Tuesday, September 13. in the meeting room of the hotel. Every effort should be made on the part of members to attend this convention. The authorities of the Exposition are making special preparations, and several novel electrical features have been arranged. As some five or more electrical societies will hold their conventions this same week, in addition to which the International Electrical congress will he held, there will no doubt be the largest gathering of electrical people present the world has ever known. An invitation to participate in the International congress has been extended to us, and Messrs. Wm. H. Bradt, F. C. Mason and Walter M. Petty have been appointed delegates. The opening ceremonies of the congress will be held at 9.30 a. in., on Monday, September 12. To these ceremonies all our members are invited. On Thursday, September 15, a joint session of this association and Section G of the congress has been arranged. This section is devoted to "Electrical communication," and several papers of great interest to our members will be read and discussed. The sessions of this congress will be held at the Colliseum, Olive and Thirteenth streets, St. Louis. Those who desire to join as members of the congress, so as to enable them to attend all sessions of the same, may do so by applying to A. E. Kennelly, general secretary, Cambridge, Mass. This membership will entitle them to the proceedings in full, which will be worth many times the expense incurred. The following is a list of the officers of the association: A. C.
