Instructors Get Awards
Awards for instructor of the year and outstanding training aid were presented at the semiannual meeting of the North Carolina Society of Fire Service Instructors at Atlantic Beach, N.C., October 15-16.
Wilbur Fishel of Forsyth County was named instructor of the year for the many years he taught basic fire service courses in volunteer departments. George A. Walker of Lincolnton was honored for his development of an LPG training aid for simulating tank fire problems.
