—Monticello, Ill., is to be equipped with the Heisler system of electric lights. A stock company has been organized at Monticello with a capital of $25,000, with the purpose of supplying the city with electric light.
—A Seattle (Wash.) item says: “L. H. Griffith has returned from his trip to Pittsburgh, where he was for the purpose of inspecting the electric road inclines in use in that city. He reports that the Pittsburgh electric roads and their method of getting up and down steep grades are a great success, and some of the ideas may probably be used by the Seattle Electric Railway Company.”
