Former Ansonia Chief Dead
Thomas p . Shortell。前首席Ansonia, Conn., Fire Department, and well known in Connecticut fire circles for many years past, died at his home in Derby on January 7 after a month’s illness. The former Chief was seventy-one years of age and had been in good health up to a few weeks prior to his death.
Chief Shortell served as head of the Ansonia department for twelve years and retired in 1926. He was an active member of the Webster Hose Company of Ansonia, of which he was a former captain.
