FIRE DEPARTMENT DOINGS
Chief Art. J. Baker of Lewistown was re-elected president of the Montana Firemen’s Association at the recent convention in Roundup.
The Board of Fire Commissioners of New Britain, Conn., have asked the Common Council of that city to pass an ordinance giving the commissioners the power to create the position of a master mechanic and a permanent deputy fire chief. It is expected that the matter will go through within a few weeks.
