Fire Administration Institute
Not the least important of the activities to be held in conjunction with the IAFC Conference, is the Fourth Annual Institute in Fire Department Administration. The Institute’s program begins October 15, at the Alcazar Hotel, Miami, and will run through October 17, the day before the conference opens.
All courses relate to the management, leadership and administration of the fire service. They are geared to the senior fire officer—paid, volunteer, industrial or military—and for those aspiring to be one. Lecturers include among others, men prominent in the fields of fire service and education. The status of the instructors reflects the aim of the Institute which is to upgrade the professional skills of the men in the fire service, particularly in management and administration.
