A new system of filtration and water supply for Cincinnati and its Ohio suburbs was officially completed and formally transferred from the board of waterworks trustees to the city of Cincinnati today. The waterworks plant has been under construction for twelve years. It cost upward of $12,000,000. An intake pumping station at California, Ohio, supplies a 50-acre lake, which forms the supply reservoir.
