EXHIBITS AT CHIEFS’ CONVENTION AS EXTENSIVE AS EVER SHOWN
Splendid List, Well Displayed, Covering All Branehes of Fire-Fighting and Fire Prevention—Fire Department Ran Buses to Hall
ONE of the finest exhibits ever staged was a feature of the fifty-second annual convention of the International Association of Fire Engineers. Not only were the number of exhibitors very large, but the quality and class of the exhibits were of a very high order and covered practically every type of fire-fighting equipment. The fact that the exhibit hall was several blocks away from the Hotel Statler was offset by the act of the Buffalo fire department in running two buses back and forth at all times during the convention, so that there was very little delay for chiefs and other members desiring to visit the exhibit hall or return to the Statler. This arrangement made the exhibits practically as convenient as if they were in the same building as the meetings. The hall was commodious and the exhibits were well and tastefully displayed.
