For the second year in a row, the Delmar Boosters won the Central New York State drill team championship.
On September 14 at Delmar, they took three firsts—the five-man ladder climb, five man dressing and motor hose hydrant—to win their second championship. The Delmar, N.Y., Fire Department team, captained by Lieutenant James Cooke, included Lieutenant Paul Woodin, Quartermaster Bruce Wood, Assistant Quartermaster Cliff Junco and Firemen Dick Tepolt, Dennis DiLillo, Louis DiLillo, Roger Woodin, Joe Adriance, Mike Krugman, Brad MacDonald and Pete Rossman.
