Since the convention of the International Association of Fire Engineers held last year at Dallas, Tex., death has been busy in the ranks of the organisation. The following chiefs and former chiefs have passed away, the names of some being those of men highly distinguished in their calling, all having been good and faithful servants: James W. Hodgkinson. chief. Orange, N. J.; John J. Jones, former chief, West port, Conn.; Chief J. J. Little, Fort Smith, Ark.; Chief V. G. Marjenhoff, Charleston, S. C.; Chief John C. Watters, Jackson, Miss.; Chief W. G. Puller, Richmond, Va.; Former Chief H. A. McQuade, Chattanooga, Tenn.
